“The nutrition clinic is definitely one of the more popular clinics at my store in Maple Ridge. I’ve seen patients with no knowledge of healthy eating and ones who are very knowledgeable and they all say they have benefited from the information given.” This is according to Connie, a BC-based London Drugs pharmacist, who also notes some people are pleasantly surprised to discover they are actually eating quite well, while others can make simple changes to give them more energy. In fact, your pharmacist can address a range of issues including choosing balanced meals, how to eat regularly, limiting empty calories and eating wisely when dining out. He or she can also get you on the path to reduce fat, cholesterol and sodium if your health requires. Your need for supplements will also be assessed.  The body composition analyzer is a fun tool that helps you appreciate “what you are made of.” It measures body fat and muscle, for comparison to folks in your age category. Knowing your body make-up can help you set fitness goals to build muscle or reduce fat.
Appointments last approximately 45 minutes. Customers with complex medical conditions may not be suitable for this clinic. Upon booking, you will be asked to complete a screening form.
There is a $15 fee to attend this clinic. A tax receipt can be issued upon request.
