Wesley United Methodist Church in Bloomington, IL is planning another medical mission to Nicaragua. The group departs Feb. 5th and returns Feb. 13th. The per-person cost is $950, which covers food, lodging and travel.The team stays at an orphanage in Jinotega, which provides dormitory rooms with bunk beds, showers, and safe, well balanced meals. The clinics are in small villages in the mountains within an hour drive from the orphanage. All supplies are brought in by the team to set up the clinic. There are no flush toilets in the villages. Doctors or physician’s assistants in general practice are needed. In the past we have had doctors with practices in family medicine, emergency room, pediatrics, and gynecology.
